Hi everyone,I just wanted to report back on the Real Dirt on Food Conference, as it happened this weekend (Sat.) I think it was a big success. The speakers were varied and engaging, the food was yummy, and we tried to make it as sustainable as possible. We've had lots of positive feedback so far. The response has been SO good in fact, that we're hoping to organize it again for next year! We're hoping to transform our website, www.therealdirt.ca, into more of a forum for student food activism so I'd encourage you all to check it out in the coming weeks for these changes. If you're interested in being more involved in food activism at your school, then please email me and I'll make sure you're informed about whatever activism meetings we hold in the coming months. I'd love to receive feedback from you if you were there. For those who didn't make it, we'll be uploading the audio and video files of some of the sessions for you to download.
